MicroDreams channels donor funds where they can be the most effective. While microfinance ventures and investments have become increasingly mainstream, such funds usually reach only the largest, most mature MFIs that have already reached the scale necessary to access low-cost commercial funding. But MicroDreams is committed to providing financing solutions for small, promising growth-stage microfinance institutions to help them achieve their goals of permanency and self-sufficiency. Without these smaller MFIs, millions in the developing world would not have the opportunity to work their way out of poverty.
